The servers seemed to be more stable today, with only a couple of freezes. We did our normal route around the village, stopping only to defeat a Pokémon Gym owned by Instinct (we're Mystic). It only had the one Pokémon in it and was quickly overcome. We stationed two Pokémon there and did some training to get the prestige up. Walked home, checked my phone and... It had been taken again! Checked later on and it had been taken by Valor. Will have to go there and take it back I think (have to train first!).

While I don't have his phone on me to show exactly what he caught, my dad was the first of my family to get into a city with Pokémon Go. It seems that 7 Pokéstops is quite a small amount in comparison... And compare a city to a theme park such as Disneyland and well, even they are dwarfed

In other news, I've been checking Twitter and seeing what other people have been doing with Pokémon Go. From the Central Park hysteria as a Vaporeon created a mass migration to the centre of Central Park to people describing their own neighbourhoods buzzing with life, it's great to see everyone being brought together by something happy for once. Let's hope Niantic and Nintendo can keep this up!
