Review No. 32 Halo Combat Evolved - PC (16+)

Strong Points:
Amazing graphics
Exciting story line

Weak Points:
Can become very laggy on certain computers

Well I guess most of you know this one. Halo Combat Evolved. The first ever Halo game. I started playing this at quite a young age, I have 2 older brothers who were 16, and 14 at the time who would play this constantly, and one day I asked them both 'can I play with you?' Well this is where my love of the games began. My brothers would bring their Xbox when they came to visit me (as they lived with their mum and I lived with my dad (who divorced her) and my mum) but I was hitting the time when I became very mischievous for my working parents, so my dad bought it for me on the family computer. I would play it for ages and ages without thinking about what the time was. Anyway, let's get back to the game.

Review No. 31 Super Hexagon - PC (3+)

Strong Points:
Good music
Nice gameplay
Very addictive
Challenging
Just one more time gameplay
Minimalistic gameplay works

Weak Points:
Graphics are not that good
Hurts your eyes after a while due to the game spinning round and flashing
Sometimes too difficult

App Review No. 7 Badland

Strong points:
Beautiful graphics
Great soundtrack
Variety of power ups
Dangers are dangerous but still avoidable
Lots of levels- takes a long time to complete
Multiplayer is amazing
Gameplay is great as well
Addictive!
The level editor is great, with in-depth tools and mechanics adding a whole new scope to the game

Weak Points:
No storyline- what the hell is going on?
Some levels are clones of others
Mulitplayer is hard to play on the iPhone or iPod (still possible though)

Review No. 30 Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of The Starry Skies - 3DS (12+)

Strong Points:

Amazing Story

Character creation is epic

Huge over world

Brilliant monsters

Lots of extra content through DLC

Lots of quests

A good, solid RPG

Flying is fun

DLC Characters from past games

Alchemy is fun

Battle log is a cool feature

Slimes!!!!

Weak Points:

Some quests are almost impossible to do without a walk through 

The DLC quests are a lot more vague then the normal quests.

Some bosses are frustratingly difficult

You will find yourself overpowered or underpowered quite a lot

Multiplayer is a bit limited as it only allows you to connect locally

App Review No. 6 The Simpsons Tapped Out

Strong Points:

Lots of content including some of your favourite Simpson characters and buildings

All characters have jobs that relate to their character on The Simpsons

Lots of updates

Lots of quests

Great storyline

Lots of levels and when you get to the highest one you can gain doughnuts (premium currency) for levelling up until the level cap is raised

Characters walk around Springfield making it seem more than just empty buildings

Outside jobs have good animations and can be quite funny

Addictive

Weak Points:

Not all characters have voice acting

When you have so many characters you have to spend about ten minutes on the game to set it up

Buggy

Some premium characters are very expensive

Quests can get repetitive

Review No. 29 Luigi's Mansion 2 - 3DS (7+)

Strong points:

Funny, detailed characters who show their emotions really well

Very Detailed

Addictive, just one more level kind of game

Some 1/2 hour long levels mean you can fit the game in to a bus journey

Collecting the gems and ghosts is fun 

Looks amazing

Puzzles are inventive

The Poltergust 5000 is just brilliant

Boo fights are amazing and challenging

Weak Points:

Can get repetitive

Having to start at the beginning of the mansion each time you start a level means it takes ages to get to the part you need to get to

Ghost fights are easy and repetitive 

Controls are difficult to get used to 

App Review No. 5 Doodle God

Strong Points: 

Lots of elements

Lots of groups

Good pictures of elements

Lots of modes

After main story, there is still a lot to do with quests, puzzles, artifacts and mini games

Great selection of quotes

Most element creations make sense

Hints are helpful

Music is great

Addictive

Weak Points: 

At some points, you almost have to use hints as the element creation doesn't make sense

You can't play many of the modes until you complete the main storyline which can be annoying

Can be repetitive as you find that you keep making the same element over and over again

Can be frustrating
