So a Pokémon Direct happened today to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Pokémon and something quite special got announced...
Spoilers ahead:
This five minute Pokémon Direct started with the intro to the original games and then the title of Pokémon Direct, all in Game Boy graphics. The CEO of The Pokémon Company proceeded to tell us about the anniversary in a very stylish room (the office of The Pokémon Company has all the games, and a lot of other merchandise, lined up on shelves) and a trailer began that went through each gen and showed how it connected everyone.
Then we had each gen shown with the trainer running and... boom! New gen for everyone! Pokémon Sun and Moon (confirming the leak - why leak why?!). While we weren't treated with any gameplay per say, we did see some concept art etc. which looked pretty cool and we know that the game will be out Holiday 2016 in 9 different languages.
The final thing that we had in this direct was an announcement that the Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow would be compatible with trading over the internet and would utilize Pokémon Bank.
That's it for this comment but what do you guy's think about this announcement? Which version will you get? Tell us in the comments.
Thanks for reading, Satamer.
