Video Game Character of the Month - December 2015 - Kratos - God of War

Video Game Character of the Month
December 2015
Kratos
God of War
Overview:
I am Kratos! The God of War! Well, not exactly but I'm @&"*} well close. You dare face me mortal! Oh, an award. For me? Thank you very much, I have always wanted this honour. I mean... Everyone die for I am Kratos! *angry rambling ensues*. Now for some information on Kratos:

He is a demigod

He is affiliated with Sparta
He has double-chained blades
He is extremely violent
Seems to dislike Gods
He is around 6 foot, 6 inches
He is the youngest captain of the Spartan army
He is an anti-hero
He has killed a lot of people

Origin of Kratos:
God of War creator and designer David Jaffe created Kratos to look brutal but not a traditional Greek warrior. He doesn't wear traditional Spartan armour so that he can stand out and be individual. He was originally going to either have a fully-masked face, have 'unconventional elements' (such as carrying an infant on his back) or excessive hair and other details. An ash-white complexion, a scar and a red tattoo are all the most noticeable of his features and they are all explained in the story.

Evolution of Kratos:
Kratos, over the course the series, has gained many different items/clothing to use. These include: the Golden Fleece and the Boots of Hermes. Kratos's appearance can also be altered via the use of costumes which can be unlocked via a variety of ways, including completing the game in certain levels of difficulty or purchasing them in the PlayStation Store. Kratos's personality also slowly develops over the course of the series but saying what happens would surely spoil something. And Kratos doesn't like spoilers does he?
