In-depth Review:

Release Dates:
World Wide: 7th July, 2015

Controls: Pull down and release to fire animal into the air

Another day, another endless runner (slinger). Sling Kong aptly named for the practice you are doing, has you slinging innocent(?) Kongs and other animals into the air, making them hold on for dear life to slowly disappearing bars, then sending them further skyward into a variety of obstacles with the promise of a few coins. Most, if not all blow up in a puff of fur/feathers/coral, you sigh and pick the next one up from an invisible bucket, hoping one day you will find what you are looking for.

The amount of characters you have to choose from is great, with rare ones abound from brain to The Eye. You collect these characters via a coin dropper style game, sending your character up to the top of the machine, watch it get battered and bruised down the bottom and swap it out with your new toy, if you get one. However, due to the amount of characters, it would be nice to have a randomised button so that you start with a new character each time, otherwise you just won't use most of them. The animation and sprites of these characters are adorable with bold and bright colour, that is, until they blow up...

Regular updates mean that there is always more to collect, with themed items abound and backgrounds as well. The themed items reward luck as much as patience as finding the items is random and the backgrounds reward your back pocket, asking for money for them (for a free game, they're not too bad).

Conclusion: overall, this is another good time waster for a 'no time' generation.

Rating: 77%

Thanks for reading, Satamer.
