Some icons are really obscure

In this game, you have to work out famous icons which could be anything from a McDonald's sign to Will Smith's face. Much like 4 Pics 1 Word you get a picture and some letters and have to work out what the picture is. However, rather than four pictures that all link together in one way or another this game just tasks you with working out what famous icon is in the picture.
It's set out better than 4 Pics though, with much cleaner backgrounds and bigger buttons as well as better quality icons. The game also features a title at the top of the icons that will tell you what it's about such as a famous person or a brand as well as a levelling system that bags you a hint and even more bragging rights. Once again, however, the game is plagued with the pop up ads of doom, demanding that you pay up £1.49 for its removal. And that's not the only in-app purchases in the game. Gone are the coins of 4 Pics 1 Word and in their place, are just five hints of each type (place a letter, bin some letters) that, when you run out, you have to buy for real life money. To me this just feels like the creators are trying to make us feel even worse for not being able to work out what the icons are; not only do you feel bad for not getting the icon right in the first place, you feel bad for using your college fund in order to work it out. There is still the Facebook button if you have some nice friends who can help you out.
Other than that, this game is another great puzzler/time waster from Games for Friends.
