Have you ever been overwhelmed by the YouTube subscription page? Confused by the Watch Later page? Annoyed by the relative sluggishness of the YouTube app? Well then, KiwiQueue is for you.

The main premise of the app is to organise all your videos to allow for quick and easy viewing. Simply log on and the app pulls the last 5 videos from all your subscriptions. You can then Archive or add to Watch Later for each one. If you've added the video to Watch Later, then you can watch the video straight from the app. Once finished you can autoplay to the next video, delete that video from Watch Later or stop watching.

KiwiQueue has a clean design, allowing for quick sorting and can be used for playlists as well with the ability to reorder videos. However, there's no ability to search by YouTube channel or genre, making it quite a slog if you, like me, have subbed to lots of little channels but will only watch a few videos from each. Also, if you have over 100 subscriptions, get ready for a slight wait while it updates the page each time you load in.

One of the main problems with the app are the crashes. I've had multiple freezes when updating my subscription box and a couple of crashes. This would be forgivable - it's a small app, made by a small team after all, but I've also encountered a problem which stops me from using the app for its main purpose. My Google Account doesn't realise it's connected when viewing the videos, stopping me from watching 'Restricted Content' like PlayStation Access. Currently, I can't find a fix for this either, making the app unusable*.

Conclusion: KiwiQueue is by no means a bad app, with its tight design and intuitive features. It's especially useful for people with massive sub boxes, people with low storage (it's smaller than the YouTube app) and people who are tired of YouTube's own Watch Later function. For everyone else though, I'm struggling to find a point to it.

Thanks for reading, Satamer.

*Note: this may be due to Error 500 which has been breaking YouTube recently - I'll check back after that's been fixed, to see if this bug has also been fixed.
