This Top 5 is dedicated to the facts not my opinion (not all of it anyway). Anyway, on with the post. What are the best-selling Video Game Home Consoles of all time?
5 - Xbox 360 - the Xbox 360 is the 2nd console in the Microsoft owned Xbox family. It has sold 80 million copies and is aimed at the hardcore gaming audience with amazing game series like Halo, Minecraft and Forza.
4 - PS3 - the PS3 is the 3rd console in the Sony owned PlayStation family. It has also sold 80 million copies and is aimed at the Hardcore gaming audience with great game series like Killzone, Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted.
3- Wii - the Wii is the 7th (counting Colour TV Game and Virtual Boy) in the Nintendo family. It has sold 100.3 million copies and is aimed at the casual gaming audience with outstanding game series like Legend of Zelda, Mario and Wii.
2 - PlayStation - the PlayStation is the 1st console in the Sony owned PlayStation family. It has sold 102.49 million copies and is aimed at the hardcore gaming audience with brilliant game series like Ridge Racer, Final Fantasy and Mortal Kombat.
1- PS2 - the PS2 is the 2nd console in the Sony owned PlayStation family. It has sold 155 million copies and is aimed at the hardcore gaming audience with breath taking game series like Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid and God of War.
Sony, in terms of facts anyway, is the king of Home Consoles, then Nintendo, Xbox with Sega, Atari etc. trailing behind.
